Coaching Model and Approach

The 5 step RAPID Results Model supports you to clarify your result, align your values, feelings and actions, and make consistent progress on your goals.

I use this model as it allows you to create change ​quickly while developing skills and learning tools you ​can use going forward.

While I use this model in my 8 week coaching ​programme as well as individual one-off sessions, I also ​draw on other models as well as traditional coaching to ​make sure you get the coaching that best suits your ​personality and circumstances.


Empower Individual Coaching

Are you facing a turning point in your life? Maybe in your career, relationship, family or health? Do you feel stuck, tired, frustrated or unfulfilled?

Then my affordable 8 week individual coaching programme using the Rapid Results model could be the answer you are seeking.


Coaching sessions are generally between 45 and 90 minutes long and are done either over the phone or via zoom. Coaching programmes can be paid up front or there is a payment plan available.


Clients who have invested in this programme have achieved their goals and feel like now have the attitude and skills they need to have the life they desire and more importantly deserve!


I also provide one off or shorter term coaching packages to suit individual needs as well as packages for ongoing monthly coaching.

Enable New Leaders Development Programme

The key focus of this programme is to grow capability and confidence to lead for new and aspiring leaders.

The individual one to one coaching programme involves five steps, and is tailored based on the results of the leadership practice audit.

  1. Leadership Practice Audit to understand context, strengths and areas to develop
  2. Leading Self to develop self awareness and self management
  3. Stepping into role to extend existing interpersonal skills to the context of leading others
  4. Leading teams focusing on four critical leadership conversations
  5. Commitment to continuous learning to create an ongoing leadership development plan.


Programmes generally run over 8 - 12 weeks depending on need.


One off leadership coaching sessions to tackle a specific issue are also available.

Workshops are up to half a day long and can be delivered face to face or online. They can be tailored to your environment using language and examples that fit your context and challenges.

Culture and team development

Create a productive and empowering team culture using the Emotional Culture Deck game.

  • While most organisations focus on values and behaviours studies show the significant impact of emotions on performance and engagement at work.
  • When leaders recognise emotions in the workplace, and consciously shape them, they can better serve and motivate their people.
  • Research shows emotional culture influences employee satisfaction, motivation, connection, engagement, burnout, teamwork, and even "hard" measures such as financial performance and absenteeism.

There are several ways to use the game to support team and culture development including supporting the formation of new teams, change management, leadership development and building the culture of existing teams.

About Lisa Hunter

My favourite quote is

This quote guides me in my practice and approach to coaching and development.


I have qualifications in psychology, adult learning and teaching, human resources, and coaching. My experience covers human resources, learning and development, facilitation, continuous improvement, leadership development, and coaching individuals and groups. I’m accredited in the Emotional Culture Deck, Social Style Model and Belbin Team roles.


I love learning and I am always reading and researching leadership and personal development. I enjoy sharing the latest thinking in these areas.


I extend this learning to my personal life and I’m currently studying marketing, te reo Māori, the guitar, and tropical fish keeping.


My passion is supporting individuals and groups to grow and thrive and be the best they can in life. I do this with respect, empathy, and kindness, with a bit of fun thrown in. I work to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone.


I’m pragmatic and always encourage the people I work with to share their insights and experiences and think about how they can apply what we cover in coaching and workshops to their day to day life.


I’m also involved in menopause education with two other amazing wāhine delivering learning sessions as part of our business Face up to Menopause.

Collaboration Workshop

Individual Coaching Programme

I went into coaching feeling stuck and had a general lack of satisfaction in everyday life. I was looking for tools, resources, and a new perspective for getting back on track and making considered choices about my next steps, especially around my career.

Coaching has helped me to know myself better, how to harness this knowledge and operate from this place going forward. One of the most useful outcomes of coaching was learning about my values and how to use them as a tool for decision making and future thinking.

From coaching I have begun practising a new mindset for approaching challenging situations. It has taught me ways to challenge limiting beliefs and to turn them into more constructive thoughts.
